Dr. Handelman is only able to accept referrals from Physicians practicing medicine
in the province of Ontario. Your doctor has to fill out the referral form, which is available from our clinic.
Dr. Handelman provides psychiatric consultation and some follow up as needed.
Geographic Catchment: As Dr. Handelman works in a hospital based clinic, the geographic catchment area of the hospital applies for Dr. Handelman’s practice. Referrals are only accepted for patients who live in the following areas: Halton Region: more specifically – Oakville, Milton and Georgetown.
Psychiatric consultations are performed with children and teenagers – aged under 18 years old.
At this time, Dr. Handelman is not taking referrals for adults with ADHD.
Dr. Handelman does not provide telephone consultation or telephone appointments.

Legal/Court/Custody Assessments: Medical-legal, Custody and Access and so called “Court Ordered” assessments are not provided.
